Live Fire FAQ
FAQ Live Fire
Q: Do I need a gun to take this class?

No, gun rentals are available at the range for a fee. If you do have your own bring at least 1 magazine. NO REVOLVERS

Q: How many rounds of ammo do I need? Can I buy ammo there?
You will need around 100 rounds for the class. There will be time at the end of the teaching portion to shoot more so 150 rounds is best. Ammo is available for purchase at the range if you need it.

Q: Do I need prior experience?

No. If you have only been to the range with a friend/husband/boyfriend or not at all you are welcome!

Q: I've been training for a little while, will this class be too easy?
If you have experience that's fantastic! Although this class is for beginners, there will be exercises that a more advanced shooter can benefit from. It's a great place to brush up on some fundamentals and learn a few more tools to add to your belt.
Q: What should I wear?
The range can be very hot or very cold! Please check the weather and where anything you are comfortable in. No open toed shoes and I do recommend wearing a hat to protect against hot brass flying in your face. I also recommend a higher collar shirt for the same reason.
Q: How old do you have to be to take this class?
The minimum age requirement is 14 years old.
Q: Is there an additional range fee?

No, all range fees are included in the cost of the class.
